Problem Note 50398: Bidirectional text does is not displayed correctly in a Unicode SAS® session

DetailsAboutRate It

When you use Unicode Transformation Format 8 (UTF-8) encoding, a problem might occur in which you see bidirectional text displayed in the wrong direction. For example, Arabic data might be displayed from left-to-right instead of right-to-left.

The problem might occur when you use an ODS/RTF statement to generate PDF output. You might also see the problem in the output of graph formatting as well.

To work around this issue, use the ODS HTML statement.
